Saturday, June 21, 2014
21 Jump Street was first aired in 1987 as an American crime series that gave Johnny Depp an extra step towards his magnificent acting career; however nowadays it's most commonly associated with the hilarious 21 Jump Street film released in 2012 starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill. This year they returned with the fantastic sequel 22 Jump Street.
Schmidt(Hill)and Jenko(Tatum)but this time it'd different, moving across from 21 Jump Street over to 22 Jump Street they're moving up in the world from high school to college. This time they vow to stay loyal to each other and not become so sucked in to the undercover lives they leave and remember their mission and their partnership. On the hunt for another drug we see the comic antics they go through as they try so hard to prove to the academy that they can be serious cops. As usual it doesn't run smoothly, they both make some decisions that put them in difficult positions; it's up to them to make the right choices and take the right path.
Tatum and Hill do portray their characters brilliantly, their chemistry on screen provides brings the movie to a whole new level. It's a must see film if you're a fan of 21 Jump Street, if you haven't then I'd recommend that you do just so you can watch this film! It makes you laugh so much, a real feel good comedy.
