As any good Shadowhunters fan will clearly know we had an episode this week and this is the roundup post. Technically the first of these as my last post on Shadowhunters, I'll aim to do them every week but I can't make promises but I suppose one every week could be a bit to much, every few weeks might be better.

You'll find I won't really release any spoilers because I'd actually really be disappointed if someone did that to me. Last nights episode actually included one of my favourite connections between Clary and Jace so far...it was a tender touch of the face from Jace to Clary- we can see the clarity of emotional feelings in Jace's eyes for Clary.

Family reunions

Alec in getting increasingly emotional over the situation of the demon smoke escapade in Magnus's home, whilst we see Jace doesn't think of it as anything but parabati love (basically brotherly love) however, we have Clary and Isabelle who are bringing the issue of Alec's sexuality up more openly. We even have an appearance from the Lightwood's mother Maryse with a mention of Max and a lot of tension.

Simon's attitude and behaviour made his character become slightly more attractive with his new found abilities to jump easily over the walls and climb ladders (wonder why?). For the first time we see Jocelyn's secret box- which is again found by Simon in literally what I think is the worst hiding place possible.

Meanwhile we finally get more of an insight into the werewolves, their hangout and the what the transformation looks like. I quite liked it but I still get reminded of some sort of kids programme graphics sometimes like the House of Annubis or CBBC show (British channel in case you're not familiar).



Finding the middle ground

 I thought one of the major strengths of the episode was the relationship between Clary and Alec being brought together and made stronger to an extent which I wasn't expecting, I thought it was quite early on.

Does anyone else find they sometimes have to watch the episodes again to get them to sink in? Maybe it's just me.
